fun with ceramics
For some reason it never occured to me that you could do silly goofy stuff with ceramics until I met this guy. Inspired, I decided to have a little fun with some of the doodles I've done while listening to lectures.
First is the Cyclops, inspired by the image of a Gorgon in a Greek urn and the "She-clops" because he seemed lonely. Her eye seems very Leela like.

Next is the "fish face monster" and "eel like monster."

I don't really know they were really inspired by. I simply draw goofy little monsters like this.
Last Friday, during the Art Walk, the art club hosted a ceramics show at Douglas Clark's Gallery. My "treelike form," on the right, was selected to be in the show. It will be on display in the library starting on December 12.
