azul, amirillo y anaranjado

This was originally a doodle (as seen here) I blew up in Photoshop, printed out on card stock, and painted with tempra. Painting, like drawing is not something I've done in years. I'm generally happy with how it came out given how unsure of myself I was with the brush. I really like the original doodle and think I want to do a series done in a variety of mediums.

I'm really happy that I'm finally blowing the dust off my art supplies. I've got a watercolor set and some pastels that are 20 years old in my art box. Do water colors go bad? My ink sure did. What a smell!
